Properties:

TMTD in the majority of sulfur vulcanized elastomer used as a single promoter, vice accelerator and sulfur donor.  TMTD scorch easily, curing speed, in the absence of an effective cure system of sulfur and sulfide produced excellent flat period, with good heat aging and resistance to compressive deformation.  In the non-carbon black vulcanized rubber with good color retention.  For EPDM, TMTD is a valuable associate promoter.  Vulcanization process in the CR and N, N ethylene thiourea with, TMTD can be used as delay agent.
